    Comments: I Never experienced the Kelp bar but grew up in freo in the 70's & 80's and am all for anything that brings back the excitement, Mediterranean feel and community spirit of the past, but with a fresh feel of today. Perth needs more like this and I hope on my next visit home from the UK I can share the rare beauty of our coast with my young family at a place like the Kelp bar!

    Comments: Freo needs more places like this for evening social gatherings. The 'pub' scene in Freo has become feral and this is evident by the number of police having to patrol at night. More niche bars like Kelp, that appeal to a more civil crowd is what Freo needs to take back the streets at night.
