Comments: It would be a loss to the entire county if the county road were vacated, restricting public access to the canyon.

Comments: I grew up in this canyon and have taken many friends there to meet Hugh and Rosie to enjoy their campfire stories and lovely dog who seems to be the friendliest thing on earth! I can't believe someone would want to cut off what is considered 'God's Country' for those of us who love it for the small gem it truly is. With my whole heart, I sign this petition to keep the county road open.

Comments: I vote to keep the road open as a county road. The maintenance is very minimal, and I have never seen an issue of any kind with the livestock in the immediate area, and I have been going there since 1978

Comments: If this was one of the first roads in Laramie then Goshen County then it is more historical and needs to be maintained and remain. It also have been in place for over 10 years which means the existing road sets its boundaries, thus is legally the road as it is now. Thus, it should remain as it has for over 100 years.

Comments: With the gracious permission of the Dowers, I have visited Lone Tree Canyon, and I found it a place of striking beauty. If the Dowers are willing to make the canyon open to visitors, why on earth would we make it difficult for them to do so?
