Daytona Beach is trampling on the rights of homeowners, crushing entrepreneurship and hurting local tourism.

Local homeowners cannot welcome short-term, paying guests into their own homes. The city, not the homeowner, decides if they can earn supplemental income through homesharing.

Visitors cannot choose to stay with a local, welcoming host. Instead, they are forced to stay in impersonal hotels or condos. This is damaging local tourism as more and more travelers prefer to stay with local hosts instead of in a hotel.
