We, the parents of Bronte Public School students (past and present) and the signatories below, fully support the teaching methods of Ms Helen Foster. We believe that Ms Helen Foster is an invaluable and integral part of Bronte Public School. Ms Foster has an exceptional ability to engage, motivate and inspire students. She finds innovative ways to address the individual learning needs of a wide range of students, from those who need extension to those who need learning support. Her use of Greek mythology is a renowned example of her captivating and stimulating approach to teaching. We believe that Ms Foster’s teaching methods ensure curriculum delivery and excellent Naplan results. Ms Foster’s 23 years’ of dedicated and enthusiastic teaching at Bronte Public School place her in a unique and treasured category. We, the signatories below, want to support a positive working environment for Ms Foster by highlighting a key principle identified as a recommendation in the recent Gonski report: “Staff feeling empowered to lead and drive change, by creating opportunities for students to learn in new ways to meet their individual needs.”
