Name: Stephanie Wills on Nov 15, 2012Comments: It is such a tragedy that Georgia has died. I was thinking about exactly what when through christophers mind when this incident happened. Every weekend there are drunk passengers boarding the train. People hit the windows of the train and are all over the place, and i can imagine its very difficult to get drunk and disorderley people away from the train. Every shift, christopher will give the signal that it is safe for the train to start moving. I suspect that he gave a few warnings that the doors are closing, and when they do close, they hang out the door while everyone is inside and if there are drunk people they will say this train is about to move keep away from the train. Christopher might have turned his back for one second to close the doors. The train doesnt set off with high speed so as it is slowly moving if there are and drunk people outside the train they will move away as the signal has been sent and the doors are closing. It is such a tragedy that Georgia has died but I do not feel that Christopher Mcgee is to blame, this is something he has to live with and I can imagine when he started shift that day he did not intend to kill anyone. Even if the train had started to move slightly i doubt the intention was to kill anybody. Now christopher's name has been dragged through the mud and humilated its so sad it has to be this way. Maybe a way to avoid this situation happening again is to have an alarm if anyone is touching the train from the outside? Just a suggestionFlag
