Georgia Varley sadly died in October 2011 and my heart goes out to her family and friends. It is a tragedy that a 16 year old girl lost her life on a night out. It is however a miscarriage of justice that Christopher McGee should be blamed for the loss of her life. What happened was an accident, there should be no blame on either side. Both sides (Geogrias family and Christopher McGee) will suffer the effects of this accident for the rest of their lives. This petition is to show support for Christopher McGee and if enough support is gathered hopefully launch a public appeal against the courts manslaughter ruling.

Is the judges summary consistent with the facts as shown in the report? The position of the door controls facing away from the diection of travel suggests that a momentary loss of vision by the guard is unavoidable.
Nicholas Johnson, United Kingdom1 year ago Comments: There were mistakes made on both sides here, but certainly not enough on Mr McGee's side to warrant this sentence. If Miss Varley, unfortunate thought her death is, was (albeit under age) adult enough to drink & take drugs, she should be considered adult enough to take responsibility for her actions.
