Comments: Mr. Nauman is a great man and shouldn't have to be terminated for a video he made to connect with his new students. The student board and media is over exaggerating the whole situation.

Comments: Great job Erick, attempting to find new ways to engage kids in an age in which attention spans barely last longer than 30 seconds. Unfortunately, hyper sensitive society and overprotective parents would rather overreact than understand the need for creativity in our school system. Keep up the good work.

Comments: Mr. Nauman is an outstanding educator who goes out of his way to create a safe environment at Everett High School. Many would agree that it would be a mistake to dismiss Mr. Nauman from being an educator at Everett Public Schools.

Comments: As a former EHS Alumni, student/athlete, and friend of the entire Naumann family, I would like to extend my support to Erick at this time. As the petition above described, people like Erick do not come along very often. For his character and leadership to come under fire like this has been a complete and utter shock. In this world you don't find too often a man you would "go to bat" for, I am sure the outcry and support from his family, friends, and colleagues can truly explain to those who do not know him, how very truly special this man is. The entire Ruggiero Family supports you.

Comments: The fact that this is a controversy at all is highly suspect where a news station - seriously lacking in the ratings - chooses to fan the false flames of hysteria over something as innocent as a school project that was carelessly sent viral. It;s sad that society has come to this - much ado about nothing!

Comments: The people of Everett know what kind of man Eric Naumann was and still is and will not accept something as foolish as this to over shadow that. I went to school with Eric and if you knew him you'd know that he is a respectful, helpful and liked by all who met him person. A person with deep roots in the Everett community. Everett is lucky to have him as their new principle and to allow this foolishness to threaten that would be a tragedy. I fully support him as does everyone I know.
