   Comments: The Board's new policy is unjust, and should be rescinded. Coach Olsen was the head coach of the Wayne Hills varsity football team at the time he was hired as Athletic Director. It is unjust to now require him to resign from one of the two jobs. Coach Olsen did nothing wrong during the Wayne Hills 9 case. The handling of that case by then Interim Superintendent Roth and the Board of Education would not have been any different had a person other than Olsen been Athletic Director at that time. The new policy is equally unjust to Dan Kilday, who is required to resign from either his position as Athletic Director of Wayne Valley H.S. or his position as head coach of the Wayne Valley H.S. varsity boys soccer team.

   Comments: I totally agree with Robby Schiller ^^^^^ the Wayne Hills and Wayne Valley families have been through ENOUGH this year, a lot of the suffering being caused by the Board of Education itself. And there is no conflict of interest. The Board determined that two years ago, and nothing new has happened relating to these 2 men to make them take their position away. Do not punish these men, do not put Wayne through even more pain

    Comments: Coach Olsen has been a positive influence on the young men whom he has coached over the past 25 years. He has also been instumental in helping the athletes obtain worthwhile scholarships, due to his reputation as a fine coach and administrator. He has assumed both positions and has placed Wayne Hills High School at the top of the New Jersey Sports Programs.

    Comments: I don't support this policy change mainly because it doesn't have a grandfathering clause. This is just wrong to do to these fine gentlemen who are dedicated to their jobs and the children of Wayne. There is such waste, negligence and improprieties in the public sector and yet this policy just reeks of vengeance.

    Comments: The new ruling is fine. However, it should not be applied to those already in position. The AD/Coaches at both WHHS and WVHS should be allowed to hold dual positions.The new ruling should apply to the next AD('s).

    Comments: Unlike the BOE plan to shorten the schedule, opportunities and credits for our students, Chris Olsen has always demanded the best from his players. What we are witness to is the dumbing down of the school system using employees and policies of a failed inner city school system. All this while the surrounding communities raise the standards for their children and advance in the the ever competitive college selection process. Thanks Coach, you gave us hope for success!

This year I have been blessed to witness personally the life changing effects he has had on my son. To make this man chose between his two passions is simply cruel, not in the best interest of our town or any child this man knows.
