Name: Ryan Denos on Jan 11, 2012Comments: The BOE was fine with the decision two years ago, and after two years of being a marvelous coach AND athletic director for those two years, they decide to take it away from him because... why? There is no real reason. The BOE knows how poorly they have been handling things lately, and they want to look like they are at least doing SOMETHING to appease the public. Pathetic. SUPPORT COACH OLSEN!Flag

Name: Tamera Conforth on Jan 12, 2012Comments: This is unfair. There is a thing called GRANDFATHERING. If you believe this that an administrator should not hold a coaching position because his focus should be on his job...What a bout teachers...other professionals....clearly this is in response to what happened this past year with our football program and the attack on it and Coach Olsen and his family.Clearly his son has one more year...at high school and to take this away from Coach Olsen is wrong and vindictive. Think of the bigger picture...what is happening in our town, and our community. Having a winning football team in our community is a good thing, and he certainly makes that happen. He is being punished at the expense of our boys, our program, for something that ocurred outside of our school.Flag

Name: Sue Wielkotz on Jan 12, 2012Comments: Mr. Olsen has done an excellent job as Athletic Director and his reputation as Head Football coach is second to none. He followed the directives given to him by the interm superintendent at the time of the recent event with nine of his football players. Our Board of Education waffled and created a bad situation worse. I support Mr. Olsen and believe that he should stay on as Athletic Director and coach, continuing to do an exemplary job at both of his positions.Flag
