Please support the DI’s proposal to operate “Centre 4800” at 4804 Edmonton Trail NE, as a permanent supported housing facility for low-income Calgarians.

All new tenants would be carefully screened using the highest standards, they will be housing ready, will have confirmed income, and will assist our city in housing homeless, working poor or assisted living people - inarguably one of our city’s most concerning problems today.

Further, please understand the program model is carefully and purposely built around a “community first" philosophy, which includes regular community cleanups, activities and volunteerism.

Calgary needs this facility, and it is important you support The DI in their proposal to build a successful operation there, to rebuild 120 deserving lives.

The DI has committed to video monitoring the facility with over 48 security cameras, full time security personnel (all tenants and visitors must sign in), and qualified program staff present 24/7.
