Whereas the City of Greater Sudbury's Infrastructure Department proposes to 5 lane 450 metres of 2nd Ave., from Donna Drive to Scarlett Road as part of a larger project,

And whereas the new Master Transportation Plan supports this proposal,

And whereas the high daily traffic volume of 15,000 vehicles on this portion of 2nd Ave. supports this proposal,

And whereas new traffic signals at Scarlett Road means more 'red time' or stopping time at the lights, thus, having the extra lane going both ways means more traffic being 'flushed' with the green light,

And whereas the city builds roads not just for now but for the future,

We the undersigned support the residents of Minnow Lake right to thisappropriate and necessarysection of roadway.
