Name: Kasonde Kapema on Jan 27, 2012Comments: Daniel Amokachi should know that referring to our Zambia National Football Team as Orphans is a totally unacceptable comment considering the fact Zambian football is affected by the stigma of the lost team that left behind Wifes, Children, Families, Friends and the Country as a whole in the name of playing football for Zambia. Professional criticism is allowed in terms of relating to the performance of players on the pitch. Don't ridicule our team, however you may view them. Your personal views, which I so dislike, but you are entitled to them must not be displayed on a platform like Super-Sport. It is un-professional and totally disgusting. My words to Super-sport is Amokachi must GO for his statements made towards Zambia.Flag

He must face the facts and give more respect to Zambia, we are a great footballing nation he should be more worried about his eagles whose wings have been cut.Flag

Just because the super eagles did not qualify does not allow Amokachi or whoever to redicule or team . As much as we agree that his got his option he has no right calling them orphans . We demand not only an apology from Amokachi but that Supersport shd not allow him to ever analyse any of our games.Flag

Name: Gideon Mumbi Zulu on Jan 27, 2012Comments: We have noticed with regret the unprofessional and disparaging remarks being made against Zambia National Soccer by Daniel Amokachi...We find his remarks unfair, unprofessional , not object and completely misplaced. We therefore urge supersport not to give Daniel Amokachi a platform to express his bitterness against the great nation of Zambia. We however welcome fair and object comments from the Analyst who have been able to do the job professionally. This is our collective protest against DanielFlag

Comments: The silence of Supersport on our concerns is deafening. Do they value Amokachi more than us the paying subscribers? We demand that management at Supersport issue an apology for the uncouth and hate comments issued by their panelist towards Zambia, Zambian Players and our Zambian representive on the panel Denis Lota. We also demand that they issue a statement to the effect that Amokachi will not feature on any panel whether pre-match, halftime or post match when Zambia is playing. If we do not here from Supersport on this matter, we will flood all Supersport pages with complaints such that no other discussion will be heard on these pages. We Zambians are not walkovers. We will not let this big headed Nigerian bully us and spoil the fun and enjoyment of AFCON 12. We fought hard to be at the tournament and deserve to be there just like all the other teams who made it. In the first game he said Zambian players will be asking for autographs from the Senegalese players. In the second game he said Zambian players look like orphans. And throughout he kept being dismissive and was bullying Denis Lota. Overall he showed disdain and hate towards Zambia. His comments and outbursts had nothing to do with football. They were not objective and uncalled for. As subscribers we will not accept such nonsense and Supersport is free to feature him on a panel when Nigeria is playing. Oh wait they never made it to AFCON 12. Supersport te ball is in your court. Please show this vile chap a red card ASAP.Flag -

Comments: "There is no penalty there, come on guys, everybody knows that the pitch is waterlogged, there is no penalty there!" D. Amokachi. I really wondered why a person with such experience in football should say that. Does it mean football rules change when the pitch is waterlogged? From my understanding, analysts should be very objective people. Marawa also has dissapointed me several times. At half time during the Zambia-Senegal, he said something like i hope it will end up 3-2 in favor of Senegal. If its Barca playing, this even gets worse, most of them dont like it all. Amokachi is an Asernal supporter and others are Real Madrid, etc. I dont understand how they can analyse objectively if they have some inclinations. You wonder whether these are analysts or supporters.Flag -

Even when Zambia won you implied we were just lucky. So Senegal were twice unlucky eh? Nothing wrong with preferences but trashing teams you don't like is not professional. D. Amokachi I had great respect for you especially in the 90s. I'm disappointed with your remarks & it would be in order if you apologised to the Zambians.Flag
