Name: Eric Yip on Feb 26, 2006State:Country: USComments: While a few of these requests stated aren't really that important to me (i.e. the jumps combo), I do agree with things such as the synchronization and the request for the MAX scoring system. I would be most pleased if everything gets fixed before the release date. ^_^Flag

Name: Aaron Teplitsky on Feb 26, 2006State: NYCountry: USComments: Most DDR players don't care about new modifiers, and neither the backgrounds/movies nor the combo system affect gameplay, but failure to fulfill the other requests would put at risk the interest of the players that will put the most money into this game. Please fix the grading system and address the usability concerns. Thank you.Flag

Name: Mikl Lanigan on Feb 26, 2006State: NJCountry: USComments: Please don't leave the timing the way it is. You will crush many of our hearts. And a simple mod I thought about that wouldn't take too much effort to add to the game would be to hide the timing (perfect, good etc.) a person gets on the arrows. This would add some suprise to what the person's score is at the end of the song, and keep elitists from quiting a song from just getting one great. Keep this in mind :DFlag

Name: Max.(Period) DDRFreak on Feb 26, 2006State:Country:Comments: The grading system is what I want to be changed most of all. FC=AA is annoying when you get all perfects and one good or lower because of a badly worn arcade mat. Plus, the original videos for songs like Dance Dance Revolution, True(radio edit) and True(Trance Sunrise), etc. are favorites among many hardcore players. Please do not turn them(and myself) away from such a great game with little mistakes like these.Flag

Name: Paul Richardson on Feb 26, 2006State: NJCountry: USComments: Konami, please, don't let the Americans screw up the greatness of DDR. Try not to take hints from Mr. Metal Gear Solid, and not release 4175619 different versions. Instead, release an ultimate version that will satisfy ALL players for 5 years at least. And please, recruit me to make Challenge/Oni steps for every song.Flag

Name: Travis Houk on Feb 26, 2006State: TNCountry: USComments: I would also like to state the timing window is preferred to be tighter, much like Extreme AC. A wider timing window will take away from the game's value since those still shooting for perfection will obtain that much quicker and could easily become bored of the game.Flag

Name: Joel Studebaker on Feb 27, 2006State: ILCountry: USComments: I agree completely with every point. The game and song selection seem to be coming along well in general, but these are problems that need to be addressed. The most important thing that Konami can do at this time it to listen to it's dearest fans, most of which will see this letter. The hardcore fans are effected and care about these major points. Though many people may not be as inclined to worry about these details, it would seem irresponsible for Konami to risk it with many of their dedicated fans, so why not address these issues and fix the machine so the greatest possible enjoyment can come from it. The beta machine, for a beta machine, seems to work failry nicely and some issues have already been addressed. Please also take these into consideration.Flag
