This petition originated out of a desire to hear Myron Cope on the Steelers radio broadcast one last time at Super Bowl XL.
The response from the Steeler nation has been phenomenal. In a few days, we have gotten hundreds of signatures from around the world (as far away as Lesotho).
Unfortunately however, it is our understanding that Myron has had a touch of pneumonia and will not be able to broadcast on Sunday.
Yinzernation.com, the sponsors of this petition, has decided to keep this petition going as a symbolic gesture of our support for Myron.
If you want to wish Myron well, please sign. If you have already signed the petition, please pass this onto other Steelers fans to get the word out.
On Friday, we will print the list of signatures and overnight it to Myron to let him know that we'll be thinking of him on Sunday and wish him a speedy recovery.
