Save Sundre Hospital & STARS Helipad

To the Legislative Assembly of Alberta, in Legislature Assembled: We, the undersigned residents of Alberta, petition the legislative Assembly to urge the Government of Alberta to ensure the Sundre Hospital and Care Center remains open and operating at its present level of service and capacity, at minimum, due to the vital nature of this service to the thousands of people living in and visiting Sundre and the surrounding area each year. Any reduction in service may cause the lives of area residents and visitors to the Sundre area to be subjected to unnecessary risk. Including, the STARS helipad service being reestablished to its former service.

5 years ago Comments: The Sundre Hospital needs to stay open as do any hospitals in little places, I live in Mission B.C. and the government was thinking of closing our hospital as well, there are too many outlying communities that need a place they can go to instead of heading for the next bigger hospital in the next bigger town or city, sometimes lives just cannot hang on that long, it would take too long for a stroke or heart attack victim to go to the further place, we need the hospitals, by the way, the government has rethought the Mission closure and our hospital is now staying open, I also have family that lives in Sundre and they have two tiny children, they need their hospital open, not closed
