Final supporters
The town of Summerland hosts facilities that allow citizens to participate in soccer, baseball, tennis, hockey, badminton and many other sports. However, basketball is a sport that has been neglected and does not have a proper facility. We are asking the Town of Summerland to support us and consider the following propositions:
1) An indoor center that allows athletes to play the game of basketball (as well as other indoor sports such as volleyball or badminton).
2) A brand new outdoor court that will allow the community of Summerland to get engaged with the sport
3) Renovations to the Summerland Middle School outdoor court

I am currently gathering blueprints and cost estimates to present to the town council. Send an email to your local representative today and demand they prioritize this project in the upcoming budget session.

Finally someone said it. The town spends so much on those tennis courts that nobody uses. Lets get some hoops up.
good idea! kids need something to do outside of school hours.
The middle school court is a joke. Its barely even concrete anymore. We need somewhere decent to play.
Total waste of time playing on the current cracked pavement. Fix it up!

My son has to travel to the next town just to find a hoop. This is ridiculous.
