Summer Bus Schedule

The petition

The campus community at Purchase College needs a summer bus schedule. Although the student population decreases in the summer, faculty, staff and students still need the shuttle during the summer months. Without the shuttle we must depend on taxis from White Plains or Portchester that cost at least $13 and $12 respectively, one way.
The other option is to take the #12 Bee Line Bus from White Plains or two buses from Port Chester. Many employees who work on campus in food service areas commute from Port Chester and many faculty and staff members commute from New York City and other areas close to the White Plains Transit Center.

Please consider making transportation to and from campus easier in the summer as well. Limited service that would include one morning pick-up, a noon time run and one evening drop off to both Port Chester and White Plains stations would be appreciated.
