Why I'm starting this petition.

My name is David Watts. I am a soldier currently serving in Afghanistan. This is my third tour, my second one married to my wife and second one within a year. My grandfather fought in the Navy in WW2 then served on active duty in the National Guard for almost 30 years. My wives grandfather fought in the Pacific in the Army during WW2. As I said before, my ancestors fought for the Union during our Civil War.

The one thing uniting us belief and love for the UNITED States of America. I wasn't born in the Peoples Republic of Washington, I was born in the USA. And the most despicable thing is the reason these people had for starting their petition; because President Obama was re-elected.

As a serving soldier it's inappropriate for me to broadcast my opinion about our President. But he's still my Commander in Chief. He was elected lawfully. He's done nothing illegal, immoral or in contravention to the Constitution. Therefore, whether you voted for him or not, a true patriotic American will just drive on with their life.

But there are thousands of our countrymen calling for the destruction and disintegration of the country that has given them so much, and for which they may not have given as much. I invite all those petition signers to come to Afghanistan and see what happens whe a country is fractured.

I do not believe in "my country; right or wrong." But I do believe that if my country is wrong I'll do my best to help make it right. I've sworn an oath to protect and defend the Constitution of this great country. I ask all of my countrymen and woman stand beside me, simply right your name and reaffirm that we are ONE nation, indivisible!

If you have any questions feel free to contact me via this petition. I'll get back to you as soon as possible.

We the people voted. Same as many, many, elections before. The votes were counted. What's done is done.
