AnonymousShe's not above the law because she has money.
MichelleBeing a celebrity should not permit you to ruthless acts, without justice being served. Enough is enough! You break the rules, you get the punishment!
AnonymousBefore this girl ends up killing someone, she needs to learn a small lesson in life. Her bad judgement, and actions show clearly that she has no respect for the law, or herself. She deserves the 45 days in jail!

Nadiyah WI agree that she should "man" up and face her sentence (she's old enough to know with actions, come consequences). What makes her so different from us: what, she's famous, she's a model and in the public eye, and is so-called "a role model" and has a perfume line out... soo what. She's not invincible. Just suck it up and do the damn time. I promise, the police guards won't feed you that much so you won't overeat and gain weight.

AnonymousKudos to the Judge - he should have giver her mother jail time also for the disrespect she exhibited in his courtroom. Paris Hilton did the crime, now she should do the time. Not a day less - should have been more. It's a shame this girl who has contributed absolutely nothing to society is idolized by our youth of today!
Paris is a Waste of SkinParis Hilton is whining and trying every avenue she thinks money will buy to get out of a jail sentence that she "feels is unfair"! Poor, ignorant little THANG - bet she's going to "squeal" like the pig she is when the biggest "Butch" in there is picked to do the full cavaity search! She should have never bad mouthed the women from that area - Looks like it's going to "bite her in the arse!

Amanda ShoemakerCelebrities should not be above the law. They're supposed to be held by the same laws as any other person living in the US who breaks one.
WALLY WALLNERSEND THAT SKANK TO IRAQ SEEING HOW THIS RICH HO WILL BE ONE OF MAYBE 3 FROM RICH FAMALIES WHO ARE THERE RIGHT NOW
SamanthaI don't understand why they are even considering giving her chance. I mean, if I was drink driving on suspended licence, I bet you if I asked to be pardoned, I wouldn't. So what makes her so special?

skizofree paris...from the planet
AnonymousShe is a absolutely a waste of human flesh.
Kristin DutwilerUnfortunately....she is a role model to so many impressionable girls. Her not taking responsibility for her actions would not be teaching a positive message. She should do her time and use this as a message to these young girls. And...I dont feel sorry for her. She makes more $ and has more $ than any of us. I brake my back working 50+ hours a week. What has she done but party and tape herself having sex? how much can i get if I do a video???? :)

RissaShe didn't kill or hurt anyone, not even herself. That is absolutely correct. And thank God that is so! Paris is a human being living in the United States, just like the rest of Americans. Her position in society MUST be overlooked on the account of bad behavior, and driving drunk certainly isn't the type of example a socialite, of all people, should be setting for the rest of the public. Furthermore, I don't believe the judge handling her case would appreciate being represented as a push-over to celebrities or socialites who break the law. Paris knowingly and consciously committed a crime and must therefore reap the consequences. To aquit her of jail time is a slap in the face to the judge who sentenced her, the millions of convicted DUI offenders who were prosecuted with jailtime, and to the American society who believes social status should not influence a person's sentencing. From the other side of the story, please support the judge and his honorable position. She mentions other celebrities who have faced the same charges and have received no jailtime; she should have learned from their mistakes instead of believing she could also get away with driving drunk. Now she must learn from her OWN mistake. Let Paris experience the consquences to her illegal actions.

AnonymousIf it was "Us" instead of "them" we would be game over in the first round woth no appeal - because it costs too much money. Send the little princess up the river without a paddle.

AnonymousShe thinks being an heiress to her daddies hotel chain and having millions of dollars in the bank gives her the right to be above the law....... sorry Paris, Arnie can't even help you now! I hope the lesbo's make you their bitch and cut off your hair! ;) Enjoy.
KirstenParis in jail--WOO HOO!!! Lock that self-entitled drunk-driving princess up. So tired of Hollywood bimbos thinking they're exempt from the law.
