   Comments: I am a nocturnal studier and I find it impossible to study in my flat, having the SL open 24hours could be the determining factor in whether I pass or not!

   Comments: DAMN STRAIGHT, when i heard , at the start of the year, that the SL was only open till 11.00pm i was shocked and appauled (at the same time). I genuinly believe that opening the hours would allow for more work to be done and consequently improved marks during exams (internal & external). And pbl could also be studies in more depth. Ta very much!

    Comments: late night opening of the sl is essential during the exam period as we are unable to remove the books and the main lib have such a limited no. of core texts!

    Comments: I think it would be really helpful to keep the SL open later as it would give us more opportunity to use it. Having a part time job i would find this extremely useful.

    Comments: It would be very beneficial as I and many others can not work in our flats, noise ect. Therefore the SL is perfect for getting work done. However 11pm seems to be to early as often you are unable to start work until about 9 because of sports ect, hence it would be great to be able to work til later. Many occasions last year before my exams I worked til 3am and i know many others who did also.

    Comments: i used the sl a lot to study last year. living in a flat of four it gives me a quiet place to revise and i do tend to revise into the early hours when it comes to exam times!

    Comments: what's the point of having such a good resource if it's gonna be shut by 11 us sad medics need to study till the wee hours of the morning...cause PBL is all about SELF-DIRECTED learning

    Comments: Myself and many of my colleagues work more efficiently late at night, and this sometimes mean as late as 3am. It is particularly annoying if you are starting to get 'on a roll' and then realise you have to leave.

    Comments: It is more beneficial to have the SL open at later times as often it is too busy during the day to get the books you need. many people like myself are also unable to work at home and so rely on the SL.

    Comments: I have heard some arguments about how people shouldn't be studying outwith these hours anyway, but there is a great deal of individual variation - some people study best at night! (eg me!) I regularly use the Landscape till 11pm then have to rush to finish things.
