I hereby petition the Margate Community Education and Recreation Department to modify the existing space located behind the stage at the Performing Arts Center, Eugene A. Tighe School, commonly known as the "green room" into a ballet/karate studio. It is my understanding that such can be accomplished at a nominal cost by simply removing the carpeting (as part of the City of Margate's recycling program), installing a ballet bar on the existing wall and adhering mylar sheets to the dividing panels. Such would not interfere with any existing programs and would not otherwise significantly alter the existing space (which currently is not being utilized for any other purpose.) Kindly give this matter your highest consideration.
