The school district of Rocky Point, Long Island is going to put all music electives and extra help in zero period, which means that all sctudents will have to get up even earlier than they do now and go to school on the high school bus. I am a 7th Grader at Rocky Point Middle School and I'm very dedicated to playing the violing and chorus. I am telling all of you that there is NO way ANY STUDENT is going to want to get up at 5 in the morning and go to school on the high school bus. Nobody will chose a music elective and nobdy is going to come to extra help if it's that early! This is not only causing problems for students, but for teachers as well. Some students' parents don't want them taking the bus with high schoolers. Some can't drive them to school that early for various reasons. Basically, ITS RIDICULOUS!! Sign this petition to get all music electives and extra help OUT of zero period!
