Everyday all across the nation ,thousands if not millions of people are having a very hard time paying their student loans, millions need to decide to either put food on their table or pay those huge monthly payments. We decided to go to school to provide our families with a better future, to have the opportunity to get a better job, to educate ourselves ,but all some of us got in return was, no jobs and a huge debts for the rest of our lives and beyond if it was possible. For some of us that have Private student loans, the interests and penalties they charge us are enormous, we are stuck with $500 ,even $1000 or more a month that for some of us is impossible to pay,Those that go into default see their loans double or even triple due to all the penalties they are allow to charge us , see their Wages Garnish, see their Social Security being Garnish too or their Income Taxes taken every year. Why is it ok for people to use credit cards , buy expensive houses they can't afford to file Bankruptcy and go on with their lives and not us that only decided to go to school to have a better future. We didn't went on a shopping spreed, We didn't buy a house we knew we couldn't afford, We went to school!!!!! We need to fight to have our rights back, We need to unite to demand to be allow to file Bankruptcy if we can't pay those loans back,We need to have those huge interest and penalties remove, We need to fight to stop the Garnishing of peoples Wages, Social Security, Income Taxes only because we can't afford to pay. They need to stop the Bail out of Banks and Big Corporations and start the Bail out of Citizens , This is the Land Of The Free and we are slaves to these huge Loans!!!! Please sign this petitions to help us change the current laws and allow millions of people to stop suffering and stop being harrass everyday because they simply cannot afford to pay every month.
