    Comments: I go to school in San Francisco, but I grew up in Newport and Irvine and visit often. We have tough time parking in at school in SF, so I feel for the folks who need to park in the streets in Irvine!

    Comments: Parking is so difficult in Irvine, and as someone who had my car towed in my own apartment complex, I think that more streets should be open to park in all day.

    Comments: I agree, there is very little available parking in and around most of Irvine, especially around the apartment complexes where most students live (such as Parkwest Apts near Michelson and Culver).

    Comments: I've gotten towed from my own Apartment complex because I was parked in a guest spot for "too long..." because there weren't enough resident spots that are supposed to be guaranteed.

    Comments: Although I much appreciate the beautiful and clean scenery that irvine provides, I think it is about time that we open up streets to public parking and loosen the regulations on areas that do provide parking. Especially for students, who need the cars so they can work and earn money for the high cost of living Irvine has. Please allow more parking in Irvine. I can only think of how much the benefits will outweigh any objections anyone might have.

    Comments: We need more public parking. Students living near campus have no where to park their cars, and get charged with towing fees. It is unfair to students to have to pay for tuition, pay for housing, but not have ANYWHERE TO PARK.

    Comments: I fully support this petition. The city of Irvine main claim to fame is its university. Since there is plenty of space for parking the city of Irvine should accomodate the main entity that brings life and culture to the city
