Name: Sharon Berry on May 18, 2008Comments: Too much of the Strzelecki's have been sacrificed for logging. WE NOW KNOW the damaging effects of logging that our forefathers did not fully understand. Please apply that knowledge for the greater good. We absolutely need green sinks and it is critical that new nature reserves are established and protected to maintain wildlife and biodiversity in general. Show integrity Mr Jennings and honour your pre-election policy to create an 8000 hectare Trust for Nature reserve!Flag

Name: Paul Martin on May 18, 2008Comments: This is the last remaining part of Australia's east coast that can easily be saved. It can rival the Otways for beauty and tourism value. The remaining threatened species (Powerful Owls, Spot Tailed Quolls, Southern Brown Bandicoots etc) and the sheer ease of further biolink creation should surely make it among the Federal Government's top prioities for "protecting what we've got".Flag
