The actions taken on January 9, 2013 by the majority of America's sports writers cannot go on. For only the eight time in history, NO ONE was elected to the Major League Baseball Hall of Fame.
Many of these writers justified their vote, or lack thereof, with their own personal moral, suspicions and outright dislike for certain players. The right to vote is a privilege and these people have abused this right.
Therefore I ask all baseball and sports fans alike to sign this petition asking Major League Baseball, the Cooperstown Baseball Hall of Fame and all associated affiliates to please revamp the voting process by giving the rights to the players (current and former) as well as the fans.
This process is broken and none of the current participants is willing to try and fix it. Stop pushing personal opinions in place of the facts or the lack thereof and do the right thing.
One millions signatures will send our message loud and clear.
We are the fans.
We should have a say.
Join me now in signing this petition demanding that justice be done and baseball take back the right to vote for it's most coveted honor.
