I am a domestic violence victim.. I finally stood up for myself after 2 years of abuse. I pressed charges and went to court.. He didn't even get a slap on the hand. I was abused mentally and physically for 2 years. I know of other women who have been abused in Shelby County and nothing has been done. We have got to stand together and get this changed. These are innocent lives that are being taken.. Mental and physical scars.
