I sign below to confirm I do NOT agree with the proposed expansion of St Peters Primary School in Normanton Road. Specifically the addition of a 'Bulge Class' in September 2010 and the the future expansion of the school to twice the size. The reasons being: The ethos of the school will be ruined There are other more suitable schools available which are currently undersubscribed The massive disruption that will be caused to our children The distruption caused to the surrounding roads & homes The future traffic congestions

Keryee Pang, United Kingdom5 years ago Comments: I am in total agreement of the above statement and further add my disgust in the lack of communication to current and future parents of St Peters School. I am angered by the lack of thought process pushing through bulge classes and how undersubscribed and underachieving schools are not being properly assessed before disrupting oversubscribe school.

I would add that local traffic congestion is already a problem (largely due to extensive housing/flat development over the past several years) and that expansion would only exacerbate an already untenable situation.
