Microsoft thinks they can control what we choose to install. Let's show it otherwise

Microsoft wants to restrict what we can install, and limit it all to their "App Store". This will hurt indie developers one way or another. Microsoft wants us to use a smartphone/tablet interface on a computer. This will hurt end users in one way or another. Microsoft wants to rethink the desktop GUI. They think that success of smartphone OSes can be attributed, at least partially, to the slick and intuitive GUI. This will hurt simplicity, usage and efficiency of Windows 8. If you're an end user/consumer, pledge not to downgrade to Windows 8 on your existing computers, and to upgrade to Windows 7 on any new computers purchase. If you're a software developer, refuse to support Window's 8. You have no need to be forced into Microsoft's system. If you're a computer manufacturer, provide an option to upgrade to Windows 7. Only if everyone works together can we show Microsoft that they have truly screwed up. Pledge to do the above. Thanks :) NOTE: I was NOT paid by Apple or Linux or anything to discourage sales of Windows 8 and increase their market share. My intention is purely to do something to prevent our PC OS market from falling into a bottomless pit.
