Name: Boteja on Apr 3, 2007Comments: i do agree with you becoz i do love peace and i do want others peace. But i do not believe that we can get peace without loving kindness and compassionate. Therefore we must try to develop and cultivate our loving kindness to all. What i mean is we must love other like our own relatives. If we do so , no need to hope to get peace.Flag

Name: Anonymous on Apr 4, 2007Comments: Buddhism cannot be reformed nor reinvented, and its rules and regulations are no longer amended. In fact, the DKBA soldiers are deceived by the dictatorial military regime that deceives the entire Buddhist people to support it under the name of Buddhism. The DKBA soldiers should not be the militia selfishly exploited by the current junta to fight the same people in the same country. Your fighting is not the protection for the Karen ethnic nationality, but to safeguard the junta to maintain its oppressive rule. Be wise to understand the junta's divide-and-rul policy. Fight the real enemy if you want to continue to hold guns. Or else, try to solve the nation's crisis politically.Flag

Name: Feraya Nangmone on Apr 17, 2007Comments: DKBA is a name that insults all true Buddhists. Buddha said "Do not harm others", and taught that we should practice patience and tolerance towards others. DKBA call themselves Buddhists but they do not know anything about Buddhism, and by fighting the Christian Karens, they are going against the teachings of Buddha. We should condemn them wholeheartedly because they are just the evil SPDC Burmese regime's IGNORANT stooges..Flag

We should lead by example and stay not only compassionate to the victoms but to show compassion to the aggressors aswell. apparently they do not know the reprecutions of their action and need our example to guide themFlag
