| 1 | Michael Mortimer | Walgreen's does not fit in with the neighborhood. If you are going to build one despite our protests, at least make them build one that fits in with the existing architecture. |

| 3 | Brian Mulholland | we have local pharmacists in the neighborhood and we hate to lose that relationship. there is no way the locals can compete with walgreens. let the box stores set up shop in the suburbs, but keep the
integrity in east sac. that's why we live here. |

| 8 | jim | Please do not let this development go forward. This town has and is being ruined enough by lame development projects. We don't need another pharmacy! |
| 9 | Emily Tash | No more pharmacies. Big corporations have already ruined historic landmarks on Alhambra! |

| 13 | Becky Grunewald | There are enough big-box pharmacies downtown. They don't contribute anything worthwhile to the fabric of the city. |

| 15 | Anonymous | no more pharmacies downtown please. what a stupid idea. alhambra is already the most crowded and poorly designed street as it is, it should be pedestrian and bicycle only. |

| 21 | Natalie Head | As someone who lives in this neighborhood and in easy walking distance of at least three other rite-aids or walgreens I have to protest the building of another drug store at the expense of my neighborhoods usability. |
| 22 | Lori Gustafson | |
| 23 | Ariel Calvert | I am absolutely opposed to the destruction of these buildings in order to construct ANOTHER drugstore/pharmacy in my neighborhood. |
| 24 | Laura Metune | As a resident of this neighborhood, I can attest to the unnecessary nature of this proposed walgreens. |

As a group you have been responsible for allowing the absurd explosion in construction of pharmacies across the city. What benefit do we derive from a handful of Rite Aids, Longs, and Walgreens in each square mile of our City.
In my own East Sacramento neighborhood, we have a pharmacy at 51st and Folsom, another near Corti Brothers at 59th and Folsom, and most recently a third near 49th and J.
What you are allowing to happen in the Downtown/Midtown/East Sacramento area is exactly what happened in our sprawling suburbs (the same suburbs I grew up in) several decades ago. No matter how you dress it up (think Spanish roof times and ornamental lighting on the Alhambra A&W) it's still an unnecessary eyesore.
So why not be creative, people? Why not say no to a "sure thing" and work toward keeping our Downtown/Midtown/East Sacramento area unique and livable? Tell the pharmacies that they're well represented in Sacramento and that we don't need any more.
Thanks

| 29 | Penelope Ann Cross | Not again. Have you learned nothing from the destruction of some of the history, beauty, and quality of life in Sacramento from destroying the
"Alhambra". Now you want to do some more of it
almost in the same place. You rats ! |

| 37 | Scott Mikkelson | there cannot possibly be a good reason to allow Walgreens to build a structure directly across the street from an existing drug store. the corner of L and Alhambra is already very congested and this certainly would just add to that problem. |

| 48 | John R Campos | If Walgreens wanted to become part of the MidTown community, they should have committed long ago when there was a need for their store. With all the Rite-Aids and Safeway's in the vicinity, there is plenty of coverage by pharmacies in the area. |
