Name: Robert Kulisek on Sep 2, 2008Comments: I thought US Air was bad. But, now I'll fly with them if I have to because I sure wont be flying with Delta. My $600 for a plane ticket might not take a hit on you, but when the entire surfing community starts to boycott you too, I think you'll feel the impact a lot more than you expected. Make a price that respects both you and I.Flag

Name: Kevin Urtubey on Sep 2, 2008Comments: One of the reason's why I do not fly delta out of philly. I would much rather drive to JFK and fly Taca or some other surfer friendly airline. Even continental out of Newark charged me only 100 bucks for the bag which is a lot better than 300 per board!!!!Flag

Name: J Scott Klossner on Sep 2, 2008Comments: The Airlines that offer reasonable rates on boards will get my business, the ones that don't will not. I will also make sure all of my company contacts, buisness connections and anyone else I know who flys on a regular basis not fly on airlines that overcharge for surfboard bags. Name: Anonymous on Sep 2, 2008Comments: I am a frequent flyer and have travelled to many countries to surf. The fees that Delta are charging are ridiculous. A new surfboard can cost less than it does to travel with one. I also travel with a golf bag. This is what makes people travel to resorts, having the capability to bring your sports equipment. Otherwise, people will just stay home.Flag
