Name: Mairead Walsh on Aug 29, 2008Comments: Delta (and any airline that over-charges for baggage) must stop discriminating against travelers with surfing equipment. It's unfair and unreasonable. The surfing community and our friends will stop using Delta if the charges for surf boards are not lowered.

Name: Michael Caruso on Aug 30, 2008Comments: These costs are ridiculous and are not tied to any expenses incurred by the airlines. This is simply their way of price gouging because they can. There is no reason to charge so much when these costs did not exist in the recent past.

Name: Patrick Cronin on Sep 2, 2008Comments: I travel frequently for business and personal trips. Even if I am not bringing a surfboard on my trip, I will not support airlines that charge high fees only for specific items. Surfboard bags are lighter than most checked baggage and are usually under 50 lbs even with multiple boards. I would ask for you to review your fees. I will not fly Delta until the fees are reduced. Thank you.
