Name: Jay Tappe on Jul 11, 2009Comments: I think it would crush Minneapolis businesses, that rely on 18 +, to bring revenue into their establishments. I have heard the reasons, and I do agree that Sunday nights at Spin, and Aqua should be 21 +. Get those trouble makers out of downtown.Flag

Name: Heidi Burns on Jul 13, 2009Comments: Restricting alcohol service at 18+ events would have a catastrophic affect on Minneapolis businesses, putting MORE people out of jobs. Also please keep in mind that restrictions such as these do not eliminate underage consumption of alcohol. Please do not bruise our economy more than it already is.Flag

Name: Andrew T Plowman on Jul 13, 2009Comments: I am positively AGAINST any bill that pertains to the banning of entertainment venues, from advertising 18+ events to individuals age 18-20. The negatives within this bill far outweigh the positives. The effects to local businesses would be detrimental, in more ways than one. At a serious and crucial time such as this in our economy, keeping entertainment and other dollars local, is more important than ever. Individuals should think long and hard about that poor idea that has been put fourth.Flag

Name: Bernadette Sarazine on Jul 13, 2009Comments: The city of Minneapolis is exploring options/language for a bill that would restrict nightclubs, event centers, bars, restaurants (anywhere with a liquor license) with how they could provide entertainment/services for 18-20 year olds. I am totally against this.Flag
