I was the Mentor Coordinator for the Monroe City Court Mentor Program located in Monroe, Louisiana for 6 years. This program was a lifesaver for my nephew. He was headed down the wrong path and now he is doing great. Shutting this down is a huge mistake for Monroe.

Absolute shame. Taking away resources from kids who actually need the help instead of funding it. Total failure of leadership!
