What is wrong with the cartoons on TV nowadays. It seems that no time or effort is made to make shows today that would not only be profitable to the studios that make them but enjoyable to the fans that want to see them. Studios are convinced that we the viewers want to watch the same "Anime" style of show about the same thing over and over again, spoonfed to us because that's apparently what we're asking for. The studios have said that they make the shows that children would watch, but children would watch any type of show if it was turned on and they were in front of it. Decent shows like Justice League are given horrible time slots airing rerun after rerun and then these same networks that air them will say that the show just doesn't have anyone watching them and justifies them cancelling it. Nowadays it's cheaper and easier to throw together a quick computer made cartoon to put on TV then to craft a well developed, well told show, and making yet another "Pokemon" or "Yugi Oh" seems to be a sure fire idea to these studios because it makes money and makes toys...toys that eventually go clearance at the Toy Stores due to lack of interest. Sign this petition because like me, you are a teen-adult fan of cartoons who has simply stopped watching because of the stuff aired nowadays. By signing..you are saying We are out there, we want these cartoons made, we have the disposable income for the toys, we are the ones that buy the DVD's and we're tired of the same old stuff being made...again and again.
