We, the undersigned, find the right-wing views and actions of the current Pope to be offensive, and an affront to Human Rights. He has supported holocaust denial, he has excommunicated the doctors and mother of a 9 year old girl raped by her stepfather for 3 years, then given an abortion to save her life, but forgiven the stepfather saying his crimes were less serious, and he continues to espouse misinformed, dangerously-misguided propaganda regarding condom usage condemning millions in Africa to a preventable death from AIDS. It is therefore inappropriate for him to be allowed to enter the country until he recants such abhorrent dogma. Therefore we demand that his visit to the United Kingdom, at taxpayers expense, be cancelled, and his invitation retracted forthwith.
