The $428 million a year and all the bulldozers used by the UN mission in Haiti would be better spent helping to build infrastructure that brings clean drinking water and schools to the places they have been shooting up.

A Jul 17, 2006 AHP article article states that a certain “young Mr.Carbonneau,” …”from a well-known Haitian family," is accused of being part of a kidnapping ring who kidnapped the daughter of the owner of one of the largest supermarkets in the capital. A source for the article said that the young Mr. Carbonneau was closely linked to a man named Jean-Michel, one of the most formidable members of the Ti Manchèt Army, the gang formed in 2005 under the interim regime and which has carried out two massacres (August 2005 and July 2006) and left a total of approximately 40 people dead in the populist district of Grand'ravine (south of the capital). | US |

Whether there is consensus or not that these documented CRIMES amount to genocide or holocaust should not deter anyone from taking immediate action to HAVE THEM STOPPED !
Beyond signing this petition, please do your best to inform ohers about the macabre role the U.N. is playing in Haiti.
Remember that among the Brazilian Generals who have lead this mission so far:
1) Ribero openly complained about pressures he was under to conduct crimes that risk landing him at the International Crime Tribunal
2) Bacellar, who replaced Ribero, was found dead in Hotel Montana on January 7, 2006 - apparently in the wake of a feud with notoriously racist and vicious businessmen of foreign origin in Haiti who openly called for a "final solution" to be applied to Cité Soleil.
