Name: Colleen McCarthy-Zeigler on Mar 15, 2003State: TXCountry: USComments: My older sister is Homosexual, I did not always understand why my family chose to pretend it wasn't so or just for lack of a better description live in denial. I never really cared one way or another, all I knew is i loved her. But, now I know that is not enough, I am a studying Buddhist, and it is my job to stand up for the rights of all living things, and it is my resposibility to protect the rights of Humans. I am a friend, you can count on my standing up for your rights my friend. If you need a signature on your petition you have mine. Place it where you will, i will back you up on your use of my name. If I can help you in any other way let me know my email address is here. LIL MACFlag

Because we must to do something to try and open the minds of those ignorant people out there, to make them realize that words do hurt people. We must reach out and try and stop the hate!!!Flag

Name: Shaunna Kaplan on Apr 30, 2003State: MACountry: USComments: I agree with all homosexuals. I am doing a research paper on Discrimination of Homosexuals and I think it is so wrong for people to think that they arent the same as heterosexuals. This is just my opinion and i hope people follow my opinion and put a stop to this hatred.Flag

Name: Alanna McGee on May 1, 2003State:Country: AUComments: I am a university student conducting research into the incidence of suicide among homosexual/bisexual/transgendered people. The results are appaulling. Some studies have found that these people are seven times likely to attempt suicide (than their heterosexual counterparts). This is most likely to happen while the person is at school. The fact that this research surprises many, is an indicator of invisibility of these people. Schools need to be aware of this. We need to educate them and enforce a zero-tolerance policy regarding discrimination. Young lives are at stake.Flag
