Name: Mervin Moats on Dec 18, 2012Comments: As tragedic as the recent shooting in CT, and my heart goes out to the parents and families that lost love ones, the weapon wasn't a Sig or a Glock, the weapon was the young man that walked into the school; the guns were just the tools that he used. As a vet and 2nd generation service man, I know that anything can be used as a weapon. He could've just as easily used a vehicle and plowed into the children as they loaded the buses or made some type of explosive device. Would be ban automobiles and gasoline as well? Our country was founded on that principle that we as Americans, have a right to bear arms. If we can't bear them on our own soil, then we should never go onto foreign soil and use them.Flag

Now, terrorists are socialized that causing tragedy is how to be remembered and given the means to accomplish that by US allowing these disgusting weapons. I will continue to Freedom Write against the causes of hopelessness leading people to apathy. This petition will further help to stop enabling sociopaths.Flag
