Name: Holly Larrett on Sep 19, 2008Comments: I am horrified that this is even being suggested. Avonmore is a residential area with 2 primary schools in very close proximity to the Fox. As the mother of 2 small children I oppose the proposed establishment in the strongest possible terms.Flag

Name: Anonymous on Sep 19, 2008Comments: This is a very residential area - there are hardly even any restaurants and non-food shops - it would be completely inappropriate to allow a lapdancing club to open in W14.Flag

Name: Walter Dwyer on Sep 19, 2008Comments: Our neighbourhood is gradually changing and is in the balance, there are definately good and bad forces at work. The recent introduction of Police on foot and Bike patrol is a welcome positive step forward but there is a bad element at work in this area and a lap dancing club will detract for the positive steps we have made. An establishemnt like this is just unacceptable in our neighbourhood,Flag

Name: Rachel Marlowe on Sep 19, 2008Comments: No way! The idea is ludicrous and will offend many of the residents in this quiet residential neighbourhood. We do not want exploited and trafficked sex workers in our neighbourhood or the undesirable clientele they sadly attract.Flag

Name: Walter Marlowe on Sep 19, 2008Comments: It is beyond unacceptable to permit a sex establishment in a residential neighborhood and within a short distance of a state school. The Borough has to decide whether it wants to build neighborhoods or facilitate their destruction, it must robustly deny the Fox a permit for any anti-social useFlag

Name: Emma Schofield on Sep 19, 2008Comments: As a mother of two young chidren who attend a primary school in the immediate area of the Fox Pub I would be very concerned to have a lap dancing bar which is also very close to where we live. I think it is inappropriate to have a bar of this description in the middle of what is primarily a residential area with many young families. Please do not let this go aheadFlag

Name: Helen Isaac on Sep 19, 2008Comments: I live within 200 metres of the venue, in Matheson Road. I have 2 children under the age of 5 who attend the local primary school - Avonmore Primary and I am EXTREMELY concerned that a "adult entertainment" venue is wishing to open in what is a residential area. There are 4 schools in close proximity and the venue is adjacent to a puplic library.Flag

Name: Maureen Korda on Sep 21, 2008Comments: This is a residential area and the Fox is in full view of local people going about their daily business. It is in the mid-way point between at least 4 schools. It is immediately adjacent to a public Library. It is directly opposity the only bank in the area that is needed for local transactions and the atm machine. It is wholly out of character and would be a ball and chain bringing down the atmosphere of the area. It would set a ghastly precedent.Flag

Name: Mr.Nat Kannan on Sep 22, 2008Comments: We totally agree that the Lap Dancing club is not appropriate to our area as 95% family lives around. This will introduce new set of unrest, crime & all possible risky stranger to this area. We all strongly recommend not to resume any such business in this area. Thanks.NatFlag

Name: Anonymous on Sep 22, 2008Comments: This application MUST NOT be allowed to proceed. The evidence is overwhelming that these types of establishments increase the risk of serious sexual crime in the immediate vicinity. Our wives, girlfriends, and children will all be exposed to the threat of a three fold increase in serious sexual crime. Avonmore is a residential area where families with children live, NOT a place for lap dancing clubs and sexual predators!Flag

Name: Louise Kelliher on Sep 22, 2008Comments: I am firmly against the development of the Fox pub to incorporate a lapdancing club. It is wholly in appropriate in a family neighbourhood such as ours with schools and a library nearly. This is not an entertainment area, it is a family neighbourhoodFlag

Name: Michael Taylor on Sep 22, 2008Comments: Address is 3 Stonor Road, W14 8RZ. I am wholeheartedly opposed to this ridiculous proposal to put a lap dancing club in a family residential area. The social impact will be dreadful and I am staggered that such a proposal would even be considered. Use some common sense!Flag

Name: Giles Hacking on Sep 22, 2008Comments: This has to be stopped at all costs. I am seriously opposed to this development, which will significantly increase the risk of violence and crime to our families living in the area. This venue, should it be allowed to go ahead will attract undesirable individuals from outside the area who could pose a serious threat to the security in the area.Flag

Name: Stein on Sep 22, 2008Comments: My wife was subject to an attempted mugging in the area recently. After 28 years as residents, we are becoming aware of increasing police activity to deal with more incidents. We do not need a lap dancing club to open within a very short distance of several schools or indeed to threaten our safety overall.Flag

Name: Dr R I Button on Sep 22, 2008Comments: i object to the licensing of a lap dancing club in this residential area with the attendant risks to public order and local children who are often playing in the area. THe proximity of heavily populated flats should in itself be a contraindication to such a provisionFlag

Name: Jonathan Wilmshurst on Sep 22, 2008Comments: To allow a club of this nature to open in a residential area such as West Kensington is outrageous and a disgrace. I live in Morning Avenue and what was the fox pub is literally at the end of my road. Not only will this cause massive problems in terms of already congested parking spaces in the area but the safety element can not be overlooked. At present I would already suggest to you that there is safety issues in this area after dark, with local youths hanging around the shops corners. I can only see a club of this nature making the evening walk home for my girlfriend only more of a risk.Flag
