    Comments: Our family pet was killed by a fisher about 15 years ago, just east of Brockville; my parents didn't tell us for many years how our cat had died because it would have been too hard to explain to children. I agree that fishers should be stopped.

    Comments: I have lost many of my barn cats to the fishers when i lived at Charleston Lake. One was gutted right inside my barn and left with parts strewn all over the aisle. When i asked the vet the culprit the fisher was linked to it.

    Comments: Why does man think that introducing a species to control another is ever the right answer. No matter how you look at it, you are tampering with natural order and other animals-in this case beloved pets-will pay the consequence.
