| 151 | Greg Prestosh | Strongly against this proposal. |
| 152 | joseph | here is enough room for everyone! Leave it alone. |
| 153 | RODNEY MICHAEL | THIS IS JUST CRAZY,I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW HOW THE QUESTION WAS ASKED , YOU COULD TALK SOMEONE OUT OF THERE DOG IF YOU ASK THE RIGHT WAY, AND OF CORSE IF YOUR NOT IN A BOAT YOU DONT WANT ANYONE ELSE IN ONE EATHER. LETS START THINKING ABOUT THE REAL ISSUES , AND HELP OUR FISHERY INSTEAD OF WHINING ABOUT SOMETHING SO CHILDISH,THIS REALY SOUNDS LIKE SOMETHING MY DAUGHTER WOULD COMPLAIN ABOUT.I MEAN REALY. |
| 154 | Robert DeBair | I am against DEC proposal #R4-5 |
| 155 | capt brian moran | no fishing no boating no parking no kidding, pay taxes pay permits pay licence --just dam the westbranch for hydro power-cant boat or fish im going to need more power for my video games-- i vote......... |
| 156 | Craig Goodman | this is crazy |
| 157 | Walt Geryk | All anglers need to take responsibity for their actions by being considerate and ethical whilepromoting good sportmanship. .
These regulations will just create even more regulations which in turn create confusion and animosity for everyone who enjoys the outdoors..
If sides were split, the only real winner here is your freedom of choice on how to fish. |
| 158 | Andrew Yentzer | don't like the idea |
| 159 | Myron Comarnitsky | I am all FOR fishing from drift boats. The DEC proposal has no bearing other than appeasing certain groups that have political connections. |
| 160 | Michael D. Melock | I strongly oppose the West Branch Delaware Regulation Proposal #R4-5. |
| 161 | Richard Baginski | I think your proposal is not well thought out and shows how near sited politicians. What else can you do to ruin the river and the economy. |
| 162 | Frank Larsen | i have to question the sanity of of any regulations like the proposed one. this is navigable water. |
| 163 | Stephen Kolb | I am against the proposal to ban fishing from boats in the Delaware River, or any other river for that matter. It is a bad idea that sets a bad precedent. |
| 164 | Ian Fawthrop | I am against the DEC proposal #R4-5 and the modified proposal (modified 2/6/07). |
| 165 | Harry Chomko | I think fishing from a boat at any time should be allowed.
Regards,
Harry |
| 166 | Jim Lancellotti | Plenty of room for wade anglers and driftboat anglers alike. I am strongly against banning fishing from boats. Personally I have only fished from a boat once and always fish from shore but it seems ridiculous to regulate fishing from a boat. |
| 167 | Lauren LaPort | This proposal would prevent anging anglers and anglers with disabilities from enjoying the West Branch. There are many anglers who are not physically able to wade fish and only can do so from a boat. If this proposal is adopted then the DEC must provide handicap access for disabled anglers. |
| 168 | Richard McCombie | The west branch offers the ability to float and throw streamers while moving on down the river this is not able to do by wading
What is one to do when the river is running high and not fishable other than by boat. |
| 169 | Charles Charlesworth | I have more trouble with wading fishermen not practicing stream etiquette and wading into my casting area than I do with drift boats. Drift captains will often wait and ask for permission to cross behind me. Bait fishermen ( I'm a Fly Fisherman) in particular will dump a lump right in front of me and at the same time give me a friendly smile and have no idea how much they have violated my space. Leave the drift boats in - get rid of the bait fishermen> |
| 170 | John C Curtis | Keep the water craft on the West Branch |
| 171 | P. Mark Li | This is an absolutely ridiculous proposal. If the DEC wants to make an impact on this fishery, it would be to help increase the flows so that the water conditions support maximum fish habitat. On a per day basis my observation as both a wade and drift fisherman is that there may be 10-15 boats floating the river system. These boats are usually quite gracious at allowing waders their water. After passage, the fish generally return to rising in 5-10 minutes. I don't think boats detract from the fishing experience at all. There is more of a problem from wade fishermen crowding each other out! |
| 172 | Jeff Moore | I am strongly againt the banning of fishing from boats on the West Branch of the Delaware. Let's not let a few people with bad manners ruin a great recreational opportunity in our state.

| 174 | Bob Burkard | I am againt the banning of fishing from boats on the West Branch of the Delaware. Let's not let a few people with bad manners ruin it for everyone else. |
| 175 | Jeff Moore | |
| 176 | Gordon Dempsey | This is an ill advised proposal. I am curious as to what/who specifically is driving this? |
| 177 | Jim Burnett | |
| 178 | Fred Peckham | All boats should allowed to be fished from on the West Branch of the Delaware. |
| 179 | Charles R Westberry | |
| 180 | Joseph Janora | |
| 181 | Robert J Flynn | Please concern yourselves with other much more important issues such as sustaining the wild trout population through an effective water release policy. |
| 182 | Anonymous | We have been trying for years to get normal flows on the West Branch and this is the best they can do? This river has the potential to be on par with the western waters. The effort by the DEC and amount of resources being utilized to enhance this resource is disgraceful. |
| 183 | Jason Legott | no to Proposal #R4-5 |
| 184 | Michael J Lipkin | Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help defeat this proposal. |
| 185 | Anonymous | |
| 186 | John S. Lipkin | Should not be done just no logic in it. |

| 190 | robin bobbe | |

| 192 | George O'Brien | I'm toatlly against restricting Driftboats on ANY river here in New York-DO NOT take away a Guide's right to earn a living!!
George O'Brien |
| 193 | Ryan Stoyek | I am strongly against the DEC proposal #R4-5 and the modified proposal. |
| 194 | Anonymous | This is a ridiculous and baseless proposal. How about we spend out time on more important issues. |
| 195 | Craig Hall | |
| 196 | Dave Hosterman | I am oposed to this ban. |
| 197 | Joseph Demalderis | This proposal is a waste of valuable time and resourses. |
