To: Congress, Banking Regulators, Office of the Comptroller of Currency, State and Federal Officials, 

We the people that have signed this petition are requesting that Federal and State officials pass a law that limits or prevents the American Banks from charging a debit card usage fee towards low and moderate income families. 

We the people have signed this petition to protect our rights as American Citizens, to have the freedom to safeguard our hard earned incomes without being penalized by the American Banks, in any form for our right to use these incomes to feed our families, pay our bills, and improve our qualities of life. 

We the people sign this petition because we believe that our rights are being impeded upon by the American Banks in the form of excessive fees and penalties for using the American Banks to safeguard our financial well-being. 

We the people find it unfair and unjust for the American Banks to impose debit card usage fees on the American Citizens for performing debit transactions and ask that these fees not be imposed. 

We the people feel that the American Banks are specifically targeting low and moderate income families, forcing them to pay the debit card usage fee. The people feel that our rights are being violated by the American Banks, by segregating the income classes and forcing families that are struggling to pay these debit card transaction fees. The people will not tolerate this violation of our rights and we sign this petition to prevent these charges by the American Banks. 

We the people sign this petition in support of all the above mentioned and ask that something be done regarding the imposition of the debit card usage fee that the American Bank will be able to charge to low income and moderate families as of October 1, 2011.
