| 152 | barry dickson | this can't be allowed to happen. |
| 153 | Claudia Esslinger | this is only the start! additional cuts in children and families, culture and leisure etc have already been agreed - we need to keep an eye on and fight all the cuts. |

| 155 | Pauline whalen | I think this is absolutly disgracful that the council can even think of doing this to us all.we live in a small community and it wouldn't be fair for the kids to go to ratho primary keep our school open its all our kids have got |

| 161 | gail ross | It's a disgrace, 115 days in administration and they try this.
People will not forget this in 2011, I say there should be a vote of no confidence in the ruling administration, if everyone stands together we won't have to wait till 2011. |

I believed the small capacity of the nursery make each and every student received an excellent attention from the teachers and staff. Being small but excellent utilisation of the natural environment of the school enhanced the learning process more effectively. CLOSING THE SCHOOL IS VERY UNAPPROPRIATE AND IS A BACKWARD MOVE TOWARDS IMPROVING PRESCHOOL EDUCATION QUALITY. |

| 198 | Brenda Myles | Ridiculous excercise when we are meant to be giving more to youths. Both Westerhailes and Gorgie memorial provide ample recreational activities for the community. Some are purely recreational others educational, both give children the opportunity to experience things they would possibly not otherwise have. In this area, where building has taken place on every spare bit of land, there is little left for children. Unless of course you consdier young children playing unsupervised along one of the main routes in and out of Edinburgh. We wonder why obesity has become a problem and children unsociable. Thanks god I didn't grow up in this era. |
