| 61 | Travis Smith | This bill is promoted as "those responsible for enforcing it will enforce it sensibly with common sense". Bullshit. They will enforce the bill as it is written - that is what the word "law" implies for those whom are responsible for enforcing it. |

| 66 | damian langman | my partner, an austrian will not at any stage be allowed to work in this country without proving herself able to do a job that no 'kiwi' can. and she is deeply inlove with this country, something that counts for very little,i almost understand that but what also counts for very little is that her situation will never change even if we marry......just wrong. |

| 73 | Susan Bidwell | This is a draconian bill that sweeps away basic rights that have always been taken for granted in New Zealand. It is particularly concerning that it gives unlimited power to a wide range of government officials without any judicial oversight and allows the gathering and use of secret information. |

| 77 | Christopher Hellberg | I do not agree with this bill, even in its spirit and intent. There are too many provisions in there to impact ordinary people who want to immigrate to New Zealand. Especially concerning is the provision that anyone denied entry to another country is not allowed entry. It is very common due to several reasons for people not to be allowed entry to a country for any reason. For example, if you apply for a visa to visit or work in a country and get the procedure wrong due to an honest mistake (e.g. invitation letter or missed a second photo). Bang. You're immediately on the NZ black list due to application rejection.
Please do not pass this bill. |

| 80 | J D Liddle | An absolute travesty of everything New Zealand stands for. If this bill passes, the authorities deserve everything they are going to get! |
| 81 | Kent Duston | This Bill does not contain the necessary checks and balances that would allow for justice to be served, and should be abandoned. |
| 82 | kathy Manhire | |
| 83 | Andrew Crutchley | |
| 84 | Jeremy List | This proposed bill is immoral, will harm New Zealand's economy, and is in conflict with several other laws in this country. |

| 88 | Richard Dagger | I'm pretty appalled that New Zealand is considering enacting this legislation. Having just read the bill, I'm not comfortable that this is the direction the country should be heading. |

| 93 | Hayden Nash | Removing New Zealands sovereign right to deny entry to potentially highly skilled immigrants on the basis of another country denying them entry means we forfeit our independence.
There may be several reasons why people were denied entry to another country, but we shouldn't automatically use that as basis for denying entry. |

| 95 | Anonymous | Drop the bill!! |
| 96 | James Edwards | By travelling and welcoming immigrants, New Zealanders form social and economic links with the wider world. The Immigration Bill is unfair. It places vulnerable people at risk of torture, and denies basic rights to the foreign-born partners of many New Zealanders. |
