   Comments: The badger is being used as a scapegoat. There is no scientific reason to believe that the badger is significantly responsible nor that a cull will achieve any significant reduction in TB in cattle. Vaccinate the cattle and leave the badgers and other wildlife alone. The policy makes a mockery of the status 'protected species'. Governments playing God - again. They can do what they want at whim, no matter what the law of the land. if they don't like a law, they just change it. Rewriting the law books should be made much more difficult to write roughshod over statutes.
