This petition serves as a request and an open letter to MTV, The Ultimate Fighting Championship organization, George Lopez, TMZ, Dane Cook, Joe Rogan, and anyone else that has used their media voice to proliferate the Antoine Dodson persona. Please stop promoting idiocy and instead use your influence to promote meaningful artwork and discussion. Even in the case of the Antoine Dodson video, the true artists involved are "Auto-Tune The News" and at the very least you could have given them equal promotion and exposure. The problem is much deeper than Antoine, unfortunately, and in this Age of YouTube it's just plain lazy and irresponsible to rely on such content to fill your airtime. There are serious artists of all disciplines that remain unheard while you cash in on the moronic popularity of throw-away entertainment. Please, we beg you for the sake of all future generations, stop promoting idiocy now.
