Mt. McKenzie Dr. is a residential street with schools and children at play. The safety of our neighbourhood and the people who reside in it is at risk with the excessive speeding that is 24 - 7 on this street. Residents have a hard time letting their children play in their front yards let alone try and use a cross walk in the area. Though some monitoring of the street has been done by both city and police it has been determined through statistics that there is no speeding on the street. There is clearly a disconnect between stats and the reality. Something needs to be done. Speed bumps, lowering the speed limit and more police visibility are some of the suggestions.
