The Family Court dismissed the custody case without at hearing on the basis of fraudulent statements by the mother and when I sought paternity testing, the Court ignored its own order to have the blood draw done with all three parties present, because the mother was determined never to let me see our daughter. I helped draft the 1994 revision of the paternity establishment act that required DNA testing and helped change the language that would have permanently finalized establishment at 6 months.Flag

After delivering our daughter at Christiana Hospital she fled the State to New Jersey. Delaware Family Court dismissed the custody case without a hearing and when I petitioned for a paternity hearing, the mother lied and obstructed the case. When I moved the case into Superior Court after conducting a six-month-long hungerstrike, the News Journal ran a long article about my pursuit of truth in paternity cases. I only saw my daughter December 2009 at a high school play and recently petitioned to reopen the stalled case from 1994, where no establishment has been made but the mother is again attempting to obstruct and dismiss the case. We need to fight fraud in paternity cases and open Family Court to the light of day.Flag
